Digging through their site, it looks like they had a service called Fancast Xfinity TV (http://j.mp/bM92JD) and their focus might be there moving forward.

Re: Comcast rebranding critique

I'd argue that it is much weaker. It basically looks like red sans serif type, with nothing to distinguish it from any random red letters on a sign somewhere. The attempt at symmetry with the X and Y just seems weird, calling attention to some really odd negative space between the x and f, as well as the t and the y.

The comcast logo at least had the round o and c, and the red circle to match up to that. The Is look weird

Re: Comcast rebranding critique

my only question is why? why the change? why the logo treatment? why the x like that? sure it's balanced and the color is attractive, but is there reasoning behind those decisions?

Re: The Kelmscott Chaucer

Thanks. Never mind that it's based on the font it is a statement on design in general too.

The interviewed people are all extremely interesting and succeed in conveying their passions and convictions. The video work is convincing too and shows very well how common and you might say oversaturated the world is with Helvetica.

Re: Typeface movie

I never see this film :(

Re: Typeface movie

Thanks for your interest. We’ve been talking with several folks in NYC about setting up the NY premiere for sometime next year. The best way you can help is to encourage groups you’re involved with (AIGA, etc) to help support a screening like they did at the Walke

Re: What have I done? Its a DRM issue. We have to have a reliable solution available to us that solves it for PC & Mac and is good for the studios as well.

Re: WeBot: Access your music and movies anywhere.

I saw that you are trying out our application. WeBot's roots are in the online music community (Winamp) and we have been building feature sets with strong user input.

Our vision is to bring a cross platform anywhere, anytime media solution to market that integrates easily into the social fabric of the Internet. We only have a subset of that functionality in the market today. This week we announced that have achieved our cross platform goals by fully supporting Mac, PC and Linux. I am looking forward to hearing what you think of the product and would be happy to talk with you more about where we are taking the product in the near future.

Thanks again for taking the time to try out our beta.

-Chris Amen-Kroeger
Founder & CTO

Re: Mobile tools for blogs

Thank you for sharing!
